Din Mhix Tazza

Din Mhix Tazza - an allusion to Magritte's "The Treachery of Images" - brought together an exhibition and a publication with accounts by women from Bormla about objects in their homes that bring back vivid memories associated with their hometown, family or childhood memories. This project was the brianchild of Virginia Monteforte with the collaboration of Nathalie Grima, Sara Falconi and myself. The exhibition was curated by Raphael Vella featuring artists Darren Tanti, Emanuel Bonnici and Elisa von Brockdorff and the book with the women's narratives and the translations of Claudia Gauci was designed by Pierre Portelli.
